Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty has signed yet another Kannada film, barely a few weeks after his Sandalwood debut with 'Phailwan' was announced. Sources say that he has been roped in for another film, 'Pirangipura'. In this film, which will star Sanchari Vijay in the pivotal role, Suniel will reportedly be seen in a negative role. 'Phailwan' will star Kiccha Sudeep in the lead.
The first look of 'Pirangipura' is already out and is the buzz is positive. Touted to be a psychological thriller drama, Janardhana P Johnny would be directing the film. According to the sources, Suniel Shetty was drawn to be part of the film given the strong character written by Johnny. The shooting will begin soon and Suniel Shetty will be joining the sets in August. Scenes involving him will reportedly be shot in Rajasthan, say sources.
While there is no official confirmation yet, Suniel’s role in the film will reportedly be that of a king. Further, there are reports that the director is planning to build an entire village set for the shooting. The technical crew of Pirangipura will be Shyam L Prasad for music and Jai Krishna for cinematography.
Suniel Shetty has acted in over 100 films in his long career. Though he has predominantly appeared in Hindi movies, he has also acted in Tamil, Malayalam and English films.
