The latest to join Karthik Subbaraj’s multi-starrer with Rajinikanth in the lead is actor Trisha. The news was tweeted by Sun Pictures from their official handle.
This will be Trisha’s first collaboration with the superstar. The actor too shared her happiness on Twitter. Trisha was last seen in horror thriller 'Mohini'.
The yet-to-be-titled film also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Simran in important roles. This film also marks the Tamil debut of actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who has reportedly been signed on to play a pivotal role.
This is the first time Subbaraj will be collaborating with Rajinikanth.
On teaming up with the Superstar, Subbaraj said in a chat with Sun TV recently: “Even though I’ve made four films in my career so far, my fascination for films grew because of Superstar Rajinikanth sir. To direct him is the best moment of my life.” He added he hopes to wrap up the project this year itself. Produced by Sun Pictures, the shooting for this film began in June this year. The film’s music is being composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
