Noted Telugu producer KC Sekhar Babu passed away due to heart attack in the wee hours of Friday at his residence in Journalist Colony, Hyderabad.  KC Sekhar Babu had produced Chiranjeevi’s iconic blockbuster 'Mutha Mastri'. His family members said that he underwent heart surgery two years ago.

KC Sekhar Babu was born on 1st May 1946 Kolavennu village, Krishna district. His father was a film distributor and Sekhar Babu stepped into film production with Mamatha. He went to produce hit movies like 'Sardaar', 'Subbaraju Gari Kutumbam', 'Samsarabandham' and 'Gopalarao Gari Ammayi' etc. He also worked in Producers Council and AP Film Chambers of Commerce. Several industry colleagues paid their last respects to KC Sekhar Babu’s mortal remains.
