Shankar's '2.0' nearing completion

The much-anticipated movie... Super Star Rajinikanth's '2.0' is on the verge of completion. Director Shankar took to Twitter where he shared that the crew recently wrapped up a major scene and that the project is almost complete except for one song and some patch work. With this, the team has successfully completed the Chennai schedule of this sequel to 'Enthiran'.

“The song will be shot on Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson, and it’s most likely to be canned next month. Nearly 90 percent of the film has already been wrapped up. The post-production work is simultaneously underway in over 10 studios across the globe. As planned earlier, the film will have a simultaneous release in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi this Diwali,” a source said.

Being made on a lavish budget of Rs. 450 crore, the film also stars Amy Jackson, Akshay Kumar, Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain. Akshay plays the prime antagonist and he has used birds to wreak havoc in the film.
