'The Sword Of Bahubali' gets international honour

'The Sword of Baahubali' has made it to the prestigious Tribeca International Film Festival 2017.

India's first Virtual Reality film 'The Sword Of Baahubali' was created by a team associated with SS Rajamouli's magnum opus 'Baahubali'. The news is that the VR film has been officially selected for screening at the Tribeca International Film Festival under the category ‘Immersive Storyscapes and Virtual Arcade Projects’.

'The Sword of Baahubali' is an eight minute VR film where the viewers can experience getting into the world of Baahubali like never before. It features the lead actor Prabhas, in addition to Rana Daggubati and the rest of the cast of the film. Directed by SS Rajamouli and Produced by Arka Mediaworks in association with Radeon Technologies group, ‘The Sword of Baahubali” is set to captivate the audience at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Meanwhile, efforts are on to release the Trailer of the second edition on March 15, in a special event in Mumbai. The audio will be released in the last week of this month in an event to be held at Ramoji Film City. While this is going on, the director is busy with post-production work of 'Baahubali – the Conclusion'... the second installment of the Baahubali series. The film is getting ready to hit the marquee on April 28, worldwide.

'Baahubali' is one the most expensive films to be made in the history of Indian cinema and has turned out to be a mega-grosser as well.
